Interests
- Bayesian computation
- Popularizing general but powerful statistical techniques like Hamiltonian Monte Carlo
- Salsa dancing
- Fashion/style
- Functional programming/elegant programs/proving things about code
- How to have the most fun with friends
- Monetary economics
I have a blog I occasionally post to. I have some articles worth reading on statistics. I also have some articles worth reading on monetary economics which are relatively sane. I don't encourage you learn about monetary economics you already have an established interest. It's a lot like politics, in that it's pretty mind killing and not very useful even if you are correct.
