The cozy, truly familiar atmosphere of this noisy-hectic-no-reservations-no-plastic restaurant is yet to beat. The kitchen-table feeling. Take your best friends here and don't leave until they close.
My favorite greek restaurant. The waiters try to get you drunk. Which is a good thing. Also: Huge trucker portions.
This is the 4am procedure: Go for the take away vegetable box. Ask for lots of hummus and get a knowing nod from the guy behind counter. Best fast food in town.
In general Hamburg lacks really really good burritos. These are good but feel a bit rushed. The place is still overloaded every day of the week.
Too Great. Take some time.
Come for the mazza menue. It tastes great but stayed the same over two visits months apart. Sadface.
Since they serve sizzling, my favorite steak in Hamburg.
To date, the best Pho I ever had. This place gets really crowded during lunch and dinner times.
Friggin good pie. You can either choose from some toppings—attn, vegans: they use the, in my opinion, best cheese surrogate: yeast enamel—Keep an eye on the precomposed pizza of the week. They often feature more unusual toppings.
Good burgers. Bring your own fries.
Skip the card, the good stuff is on the weekly changing menu.
Once you get over the interior decoration, you're set for some very good austrian kitchen.
The miso soup knows its ways.
